I love what Converse is doing with the renew program and the Carthartt WIP Renew Chuck 70 is joining the lineup. The sneaker is composed of upcycled textiles from the brand itself. One thousand pre-owned canvas Carhartt work jackets, trousers and overalls, sourced from UK–based fashion and vintage retailer, Beyond Retro, were sorted into three color ranges and then cut to create individual Chuck 70 shoe panels. The stitching of the tri-panel sneakers features the characteristics of the brand.
The collection will be available in limited quanitities at converse.com, carhartt-wip.com and select retailers May 28 and retail for 150 USD.
