Des, the creator of the brand “We All We Got” an apparel and accessory line sold at Chicago’s Fat Tiger Workshop is making his message that “Chicago Girls Do It Better” a bold statement with the release of his upcoming adidas Superstar. “I love Chicago Girls with every ounce of my heart. My first shoe I’ve ever designed it was only right that I showed love to the ladies of the city!” says, Des. “Chicago girls are one of a kind and yall got my love forever! This shoe is a big thank you to all the Chicago Girls doing their thing. KEEP GOING and lets stick together!.”
The sneaker was surely created with love with its glossy bright red upper and tonal laces. The adidas Superstar features the iconic three stripes on the side with a suede finish and red outsole. The sneaker is complete with the “Chicago Girls Do It Better” logo in an eye-catching white on the side of the sneaker. We also see this motif re-iterated on the tongue. If you’re feeling like the sneaker is just a bit too red, you change up the vibe with the additional four lace options.
The CGDIB adidas Superstar will be dropping just in time for All-Star Weekend which hasn’t taken place in the city of Chicago since 1988 and it’s a special moment for the city. “Designing a shoe for such a special and important moment as All-Star Weekend feels like a dream come true. I'm happy I can celebrate with the ladies of the city” says Des.
The sneaker is set to release on Saturday, February 8th at Fat Tiger Workshop and online February 15th.
