Heron Preston has teamed up with Levi's for a new denim collection. The collection is inspired by Heron himself that honors a mix-up in his birth certificate that indicated the wrong year he was born. "MISTAKES ARE OKAY" borrows its namesake from Preston's tattoo that says "1873" which is actually the year Levi's patened the blue jean instead of 1983. Crazy right?
The collection will include 501 jeans for both women and men with intentional "mistakes" such as mismatched buttons, inside-out pockets, raw seams and more. The signature Levi's red tab will be accompanied by Heron's orange logo on the pieces. Even though the collection is quite pricey it will range from $395 to $465 USD and will release exclusively on the Levi's app today.
