With all the marathons being cancelled last year we seen many runners take to the streets and still run. They even created their own running groups for the particular events and cheered each other on along the way. The marathon's that we seen so many our of peers prepare for was non-existent. But, 2021, things are looking up. This collaboration takes inspiration from Public School's Dao-Yi Chow experience as a marathoner and celebrates the culture of NYC and the importance of being a leader. “The idea of ‘WE NEED LEADERS’ is a reminder that it is far greater to lead than to follow. Staying active to both better yourself and your community is so important in the times we’re living in right now,” Chow shares in a press release. “Now more than ever, we need to be our best selves and leaders for our communities have to get out, show up and make our voices heard.”
The star of the collaboration is the New Balance 327 that features a green and navy upper with the NB Logo and it says "WE NEED LEADERS" on the side of the shoe. It's accompanied with the "N" in an ombre white and green. The collaborattion also includes the FuelCell RC Elite and apparel.
